What is one of the best ways to increase your volleyball skills as fast as possible?

One of the best ways to increase your skills is to play outdoor volleyball.  Research has shown that playing outdoor is one of the fastest and best way to increase your volleyball skills and make you a better player.  Outdoor (grass and sand) volleyball is a fun way for you to get better at the game.  The teams are only 2 or 3 people so you have to master all of the skills of volleyball and not just specialize in one area.  You are touching the ball more because of the smaller teams and you have to move a lot more to cover the court.  All of this makes you a better player.

How do you get involved?

There are a few ways to play outdoor.  You don't need a coach.  You can buy your own net, get outside, get some friends, and start playing.  Or you can get some coaching from a Magnum instruction, practice with others, and play against others also wanting to get better.

David Tiffner (Magnum 16 Champion coach) runs Soda City Beach.  We have joined with him and encourage all Magnum players interested in outdoor to sign up for his league.
